Fitness Fulfillment was started by Jeff Johnson in 2005. Mr. Johnson began development of MobileTrainer to compete in The 2006 Donald W. Reynolds Governor’s Cup Collegiate Business Plan Competition. This competition is designed to encourage students of Oklahoma universities and colleges to act upon their entrepreneurial ideas and develop skills to lead tomorrow's innovative new businesses. The goals of this organization was to participate in the competition, to create awareness of the concept of an “Electronic Personal Fitness Training Device” also known as “MobileTrainer”, and to gain investment funding and/or establish a partnership with an established corporation with a testable product on the market in order to speed introduction to market. Fitness Fulfillment completed the competition and won a sponsorship award for “Best Use of Computer Technology” valued at $15,000 of in-kind web design and services to be used toward the start-up of the company.

MobileTrainer is a patent pending product conceptualized by Jeff Johnson, a personal fitness instructor and Oklahoma State University graduate. MobileTrainer was developed to help consumers attain a convenient, low cost alternative to the conventional personal fitness instructor. This product is a fitness training service consisting of a peripheral device and web services that uses existing personal media devices and personal computers to guide consumers through personalized exercise routines whether they have fitness equipment or no equipment and whether they have a gym membership or not. An extensive library of hundreds of exercises on the website will then be used to develop programs specific to the selected fitness goal. The exercises will be displayed on the personal media device, PC, or printed on paper showing start, stop, and alternative images demonstrating proper form and technique along with textual instruction. Other features of this system will provide dietary meal planning and online forums for the members.
